Words cannot describe how awesome day one was at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. It was jammed pack with eye candy street style and jaw dropping runway shows. Ok I’m going straight to the point (coz it’s 3am!) – here’s a quick preview of day one with more to come!

The biggest highlight of day 3 was seeing and capturing Eva Longoria (L’oreal Ambassador) alongside Megan Gale. She was stunning from top (sporting a new fringe bang) to bottom (white Christian Louboutin heels). After Eva Longoria and Megan Gale (and their entourage) had their photos taken and leave for the VAMFF runway shows, I couldn’t believe I uttered out loud, “I love you Eva”. She was gracious, that she turned and thanked me. *starstruck* That really made my day!

Last night was all about simplistic and elegant style at Collins234 VIP night. I was invited to capture and mingle with a fashionable crowd, and hear from one of Australia’s leading stylist Philip Boon and fashion blogger/writer Sarah Kempson from Style Emporium on what’s on trend this season – chunky necklaces, woolly capes, ankle boots and monochrome outfits. It’s all about keeping it simple and classy. Who knew that monochrome also included color blocking (not just black and white)! My favourite new tip is to use your tie as a cravat – I’ll like to see Matt Preston try that! My favourite outfit of the night was the grey jersey dress and that purple handbag from SABA is just divine!
