MFW 2017 Models Off-Duty Street Style highlights

Did you know that Melbourne Fashion Week (#MFW) is the new, and cooler brand name replacing the old name, “Melbourne Spring Fashion Week”?

I’ve teamed up with the City of Melbourne, who is proudly presenting Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) to hunt down my favourite models off-duty street style looks. My standout looks were definitely Lin Xie’s Vetement’s x Champion sweater and sneakers by Seppe Zanotti; Bianca Guest’s slick black vintage Guess jumpsuit; and Bradley McGill’s hound tooth pants by COS and Calibre turtleneck.

I also went behind the scenes at the model casting day to capture a few moments of the models charming the judging panel of 11 people with their personality, walk and posing. 50 new fresh faces will be chosen to walk the runway at the MFW and I’m super excited to see who will be walking at this year’s runway shows.

On the same note, I will snapping up my favourite street style looks at Melbourne Central so please come down and say hi, and hopefully get your most fashionable snapped and featured on their social channels. Pencil the details down on your diary now:

Vogue American Express Fashion Night Out (VAEFNO)

Ok, so here are my favourite looks and moments from the MFW Model Casting day.

Rexy the Coach Dino SS17

Last Christmas, I was approached by COACH New York to share the news about the Rexy Dino Coach collection on Instagram, but I never got around to posting the full story on my blog!

Inspired by Country Punk, here are my favourite images from the COACH collaboration. Better late than never!

MBFWA 2017 Final Street Style Highlights

Fashion week is finally over and out, and what better way to end it at the iconic Bondi Beach Icebergs.

I would like to thank all the PR agencies for their continual support and inviting me to the runway shows; and to all my photography and fashion friends for keeping me company on the streets! I loved every moment hanging out with you guys.

Though fashion week is over, street style is here to stay. So keep being you, be authentic, and be true to your style.

See you next year!

xx Karen Woo.
