VAMFF has been so much fun, capturing and meeting all sorts of personalities with fierce street style to match. I’m loving Lady Petrova (Fashion Designer) in her beautiful hot pink number, Hanako’s floral headpiece and pink lace ensemble, and Bree Laughlin’s (TV Presenter/Model) signature clutch as designed by Mr Hide and Co. Hey I just found out that four of my street style images made it to top 19 favourite instagrams in Buzzfeed, Manhattan New York. It’s like wow, so awesome.

Celebrity Stylist, Phillip Boon hosts Collins234 VIP Night

Last night was all about simplistic and elegant style at Collins234 VIP night. I was invited to capture and mingle with a fashionable crowd, and hear from one of Australia’s leading stylist Philip Boon and fashion blogger/writer Sarah Kempson from Style Emporium on what’s on trend this season – chunky necklaces, woolly capes, ankle boots and monochrome outfits. It’s all about keeping it simple and classy. Who knew that monochrome also included color blocking (not just black and white)! My favourite new tip is to use your tie as a cravat – I’ll like to see Matt Preston try that! My favourite outfit of the night was the grey jersey dress and that purple handbag from SABA is just divine!

New move, New York inspired

Forgive me. I’ve been so carried away with photography work that I haven’t managed to find time to sit down and write something. Anyway I’ve got some exciting news – I just recently moved photography studios – New York inspired creative loft which screams ME. White wash walls, high ceilings and a huge shooting space with natural light!

My new location is 2/2 Theatre Place Canterbury VIC 3126. I promise I will share some pics, but do visit me and my team at Finessence Photography!
