How Your Mind Sees Art #Thoughtograph

La Trobe University, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), has introduced a unique and interactive art experience as part of the gallery’s Friday Night summer series events (5 Feb – 24 April), and I was fortunate enough to be invited to the launch of this beautiful event.

I wore a wireless headset across my forehead which recorded my brainwave activity as I viewed four pieces of artwork (ie, two Andy Warhol and Ai Wei Wei). My brain waves (EEG) were translated into meaningful data; then recorded into a personalised Thoughtograph which allowed to me to see exactly how engaged my mind was to the art work. Mine looked like a butterfly…

Jeep Portsea Polo 2016

Early Jan, I had the pleasure of taking my Woo-man (and leaving our 4 year old behind..Woo!) who was kindly dressed by Peter Jackson (THANK YOU xxx) to the Jeep Portsea Polo. Can you believe that it’s our first date to a fashion event together? It was just nice to go to an event together without having to work work, like take snaps of people but getting snapped instead.

Since we were purely guests at the Jeep Portsea Polo marquee (THANK YOU TWO BIRDS TALKING!), I didn’t really get a chance to take a lot of snaps as I usually do. Let alone, watch any polo sport. However, I still managed to squeeze in a few frames, nibbles and catch ups with everyone.

So enjoy my highlights and some funny moments (especially Indianna’s photobomb moment) xx

Every Day with Peter J

I’ve grown up with Peter Jackson, and I can always remember the iconic “Peter Jackson” jingle that sounded over their adverts as the most dapper of men graced the screen. Peter Jackson has been making luxury & innovative tailoring to meet every Aussie man’s needs for decades and has become the go to for men in every state….including my very own Dad.

When I was little girl, my Dad would used to take me on a mission to choose a shirt and tie for him, and Peter Jackson was his shop of choice. So when I say that I’ve grown up with Peter Jackson, I mean more than just knowing the jingle off by heart. Decades later, I have been fortunate enough to work with this classic brand in a creative and street style capacity.

Aiming to bring a fresh and interesting look to PJ, we created a new wave of direction where story telling and lifestyle elements are key to their content. The #EverydaywithPeterJ campaign shows how the everyday man can take any Peter Jackson garment and weave it in with his own wardrobe to define his own style. Working with a number of Social Influencers, the campaign is an exciting new concept and project I am proud to share with you.

First off, here’s Daniel James Harris (@danieljamesharris) from The Gallant Army. See our first street style story below, with more to come in the next few days.

Enjoy! xx
