Getting personal at Christian Dior’s ABCDior pop-up store at Chadstone Fashion

This season’s trend is about getting your things name embroidered, and Dior has finally brought this offering to Chadstone Fashion. Personalisation normally takes about 2-3 months and is sent to Paris, but lucky for us it now takes 2-3 days until 1 March 2020.

I was invited to an exclusive look at Christian Dior’s ABCDior pop-store and I was like a girl crushing on all the candy that was on display. There were a beautiful array of their best selling oblique Dior totes, saddle bags, airpod case, sneakers, jewellery and their newest addition – the oblique travel range. Everything you could wish for in the one place. But be quick because the obliques pieces are selling out fast. I was told that Australia were the first to receive 30 silver-grey totes before it launches world-wide in June, so if I was you, get to it!

Paris Fashion Week 2018 Loewe Street Style with the mirrorless Nikon Z7

Looking back, capturing street style outside Loewe was my personal favourite of the entire Paris Fashion Week schedule. It all came down to the interesting clothes, accessories and shoes, the detailed patterns, textures, patch work, pleats and the peplum corset belt was to die for! I was so close to purchasing one but I ended up finding a beautiful vintage Chanel corset belt in Marais for 250 euros. If you are wondering what is one of the “must-have accessories” to come off fashion week, I’ll definitely say “the corset belt”. It’s one versatile piece that would elevate your shirt dress or high waisted pants from boring to elegance!

Paris Fashion Week Gucci 2018 street style with Mirrorless Nikon Z7 camera

This was Gucci’s first show in Paris outside of Milan, and it was manic with screaming fans and typical traffic jams. It was impossible to get any neat shots as every thing was happening so fast but I’m still managed to squeeze past the security to capture a few moments and street style looks. Even the famous actor, Jared Leto made a brief appearance which made all the fans go crazy.

All images were taken on the new mirrorless Nikon Z7 camera using Nikkor 70-200mm lens. The camera mode was set on “auto” which gives me an advantage of tracking people’s faces as I shoot without losing the moment. What a cool feature!
